On behalf of Immanuel Presbyterian Church, I want to welcome and thank you for your visit to our website. We hope that our site will serve you well in three particular ways.
First, we want to provide you with the kind of practical information you might find helpful in deciding whether to visit Immanuel: answers to your questions about things like where, when, and what to expect. For information about our service times and location, please click here.
Second, we want to help you better understand who we are as a congregation: our people, our commitments, our worship, and the opportunities for growth and service to which we believe God has called us locally and globally.
Third, and most importantly, we want our site to inform you well concerning our Lord Jesus Christ and the power of His Gospel. For, far above all other things that we might tell you or explain about ourselves and our church, He is the most important fact about us. He has made us His people: we are His, and He is ours. We are a community created, redeemed, sustained, and kept by the grace and love of God in Jesus Christ. We rejoice to know and serve Him from DeLand to the ends of the earth, and we desire to be your servants as well.
We would like to be the place you call your church home, a place where you can ask questions and get answers, a place where you can belong, and a place where you can serve and make a difference.
Finally, we want to especially welcome those visitors to our site who are not Christians or who come with questions trying to understand what the Christian faith is about. We welcome you, and encourage you to visit us for worship on Sunday mornings at 10:00 a.m., a time when we trust you will see that we take our life as Christ’s people with a gravity and joy befitting the “glorious Gospel of the blessed God” (1 Timothy 1:11).
Please do not hesitate to email me if we can be of any assistance to you.
